How to stay?

So I managed to do it -- I am living in Italy, working legally, and absolutely loving being in Europe! I don't imagine that I will ever want to go back, other than for short visits.

What are some good options for staying here? Marrying a local? Getting a local company to hire me? How do I do that?

There is a good chance I can get citizenship with the UK through my dad, as he was born there and is a dual citizen. However, my current job disallows dual-citizenthip. I'd need to transition into a different job where I was hired as an American, work on the citizenship, then get hired as a local, I guess. Anyone know good resources for transitioning folks?

Cheers and ciao!
SW :)

Australia Day Party in SF

Calling all dags, drongos, and assorted yobbos,
Strewth!
It's that time of the year again to celebrate the discovery of the Land of creepy crawlies, beer, and Dame Edna.
Yes, this Friday January 26th, is Australia Day and it's a great reason to party and share a tinnie (beer) with a mate or two. It will be better than a brown-eyed mullet, for sure.

Aussie Day is usually marked with 'stone the crows' drinking binges, playing footy in the backyard, and a thong throwing contest or two on the beach. But this year it takes a turn for the worse - Come chuck a wobbly at Encounter Studio.

Date: Friday, January 26th
Time: 7:30pm - 11pm.
Grub: Pies, pasties, sausage rolls, Pavlovas (no promise that they will even be edible) and beer.
And don't be a wuss - try the Vegemite sandwiches.
BYO whatever else you want to eat or drink.
Location: Encounter Studio, Potrero Hill. (message me for the address)

Fair suck of the sav! Come join us for fun and frivolities.
Don't be bludgers..get your butt over here for a rip snorter of a night.
Cheers,
Shaz

Anyone have kids with British accents that live in the U.S?

Hey I need to find a kid for this TV show we are making for Disney- Help!

Disney Channel needs kids age 8-14 who were born in Great Britain, and now live in the United States, to star in a brand new Disney Channel TV show! The key is they still have to have their British Accents! They also have to have proper visas/ resident status to work in the U.S. When picked, they will be put on a well-compensated contract with Disney Channel and flown in to Los Angeles every time we record a show. The show will air in the United States and around the world on Disney Channel. Please contact David Glasgal at 323-464-6789 x208 or send pictures and info to david@7ate9.com Thank you.
